“I was happy to be one of the participants of the READY TO ADVOCATE Bootcamp 2026 . The Bootcamp was about creating advocacy leaders in different locations to be the voice of the voiceless, especially for key populations. It also focused on building resilience among people living with HIV—reminding us that you should know who you are, never be afraid, and always embrace yourself.”

— Joshua Ndzimandze shares his message.

When young people gather with a shared vision of building a better world, the atmosphere is electric. The recent Bootcamp organized by United Youth for Sustainable Globe funded by Global Network of Young People Living with HIV under the READY+ Projcet, was a shining example of how collective learning can inspire action. It was more than a training it was a celebration of youth potential, a reminder that sustainable change begins with empowered voices.

The Bootcamp offered participants a chance to sharpen their leadership skills and explore innovative approaches to advocacy and entrepreneurship. Through interactive sessions, young leaders gained practical knowledge on sustainability and engagement. These lessons were not abstract theories; they were tools designed to be applied immediately in local contexts, ensuring that the momentum generated during the Bootcamp translates into real-world impact.

One of the most powerful aspects of the Bootcamp was the sense of community it fostered. Youth from diverse backgrounds came together, exchanging experiences and building networks that will outlast the event itself. These connections are more than friendships—they are bridges for future collaborations, joint initiatives, and collective advocacy campaigns. The Bootcamp reminded participants that while challenges may differ across regions, the drive for sustainable change unites them.

The program also highlighted the role of entrepreneurship in addressing social challenges. Participants were encouraged to think creatively about how business ideas can contribute to sustainability—whether by tackling climate change, reducing unemployment, or promoting inclusive growth. This entrepreneurial lens empowered youth to see themselves not only as advocates but as problem-solvers capable of designing solutions that are both impactful and sustainable.

The Bootcamp left participants with a twinkle of hope and renewed energy. It proved that when youth are given platforms to learn, connect, and innovate, they rise to the occasion with brilliance. The event was not just about knowledge it was about igniting sparks of change that will continue to glow in communities across the globe.
