A man in handcuffs , a blindfold over the eyes , is the president of Venezuela -one of the sovereign states. This reminds the world about how the biological theory of Charles Darwin was transformed by Herbert Simon's in social context, resulting in validation of imperialist dominance. Similarly, the notion "Survival of the fittest" is revived in a more complex and chaotic political environment. The struggle to dominate the world order among existing and rising superpowers has left very little vacuum for international law to function. After the emanation of neo-liberal order and collective consensus of supper powers that ensured effective functioning of law. As a result , much of the peace was prevalent through settling disputes , dispensing justice and protecting human and gender and minority rights. However , it has reached an end and become dysfunctional. This highlights Austin's positive approach, who once said that international law is a weak law. To this end , the current environment substantiates the legal reasoning of Austin and entails that international law is for the weak and cannot be enforced against giants. The apex court that protects International law issued arrest warrants to the violators of international Humanitarian law (IHL) , Mr. Putin and Netanyahu but failed and ignored miserably. To the extent of violation that is observed throughout; however , the last move was played by MR. Trump , 47 president of the United States, who not only breached the sovereignty of Venezuela by kidnapping incumbent president but also announced the revival of social darwinism and the complete demise of international law.
