ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Parvitha 🌸

I’m 13 years old, and right now I’m just living my life step by step, trying to enjoy every small moment and understand myself better. Life feels like a mix of calm and chaos, fun and confusion, and I’m learning to balance all of it in my own way. I don’t have everything figured out, but I think that’s okay because I’m still growing.

One thing that really makes me is my love for horror 👀🖤 I enjoy watching scary movies, listening to creepy stories, and anything that gives me chills. The suspense, the mystery, and the unexpected moments make it so exciting. While some people get scared, I actually enjoy that feeling. It’s like stepping into a different world where anything can happen, and I love the thrill of it.

At the same time, I also have a strong and active side because I love playing basketball 🏀 It’s one of my favorite things to do. Being on the court makes me feel confident, energetic, and free. I enjoy running, practicing, and trying to improve my skills. Basketball is not just a game for me—it teaches me discipline, teamwork, and how to stay focused. It makes me feel strong both physically and mentally.

Music is also a big part of my life. I listen to songs depending on how I feel. Sometimes I choose calm music when I want to relax, and other times I listen to energetic songs when I’m in a happy or excited mood. Music feels like it understands me even when I don’t fully understand myself.

In my free time, I like spending time on my phone, watching reels, and keeping up with trends. I enjoy cute things, aesthetic styles, and little details that make everything look and feel nice. These small things bring me happiness in a simple way. I also love talking with my friends, laughing, and sharing random moments with them. They make my days brighter.

I may seem quiet or shy when you first meet me, but once I feel comfortable, I open up a lot. I can be really talkative, fun, and sometimes a little chaotic in a good way. I enjoy being around people who make me feel safe and understood. My friends mean a lot to me, and I always try to be there for them.

Even though I enjoy being around people, I also like having my own space. I enjoy sitting quietly, thinking, or daydreaming. I often get lost in my thoughts and imagine different things. Sometimes I overthink, even about small situations, but I’m learning to handle it better and not let it affect me too much. I’m slowly becoming more confident and positive.

I care deeply about the people in my life, especially my friends and family. Even if I don’t always show it, they are very important to me. I believe in being kind, honest, and real. I try to stay true to myself instead of pretending to be someone else.

I know I’m not perfect, and I don’t try to be. I’m still learning, making mistakes, and growing every day. I want to become stronger, more confident, and better in everything I do. I also have dreams and goals for my future, even if I’m not completely sure about them yet. I just know that I want to do something that makes me happy and proud.

I’m a mix of many things—soft but strong, quiet but expressive, calm but a little chaotic, and sweet with a love for spooky things. I like being different in my own way and not following everyone else.

Just a girl who loves basketball, enjoys horror, listens to music, and is still discovering her own story.

Just me, Parvitha ✨

CHAPTER 1: 2:17 AM

At exactly 2:17 AM, Priya’s phone buzzed.

The sound cut through the silence of the hostel room like something alive. She stirred under her blanket, groaning, trying to ignore it. The power had gone out hours ago, and the only movement in the room came from the slow rotation of the ceiling fan above.

Buzz.

This time longer.

Insistent.

Priya sighed and reached blindly for her phone. The glow lit up her tired face.

1 New Message — Pooja

Her brows furrowed.

That didn’t make sense.

Slowly, she turned her head toward the other side of the room.

Pooja was there.

Lying on her bed.

Facing the wall.

Completely still.

Priya blinked, confused, then unlocked her phone.

“Are you awake?”

Her fingers hovered before replying.

“Yeah. Why are you texting? You’re right there.”

The typing dots appeared instantly.

Too instantly.

“Don’t look at me.”

A strange unease crept into her chest.

She looked up anyway.

Nothing had changed.

Pooja hadn’t moved.

The shadows in the room stretched unnaturally along the walls.

“What do you mean?” Priya typed.

A pause.

Then—

“I’m not on the bed.”

Priya’s stomach dropped.

Her eyes snapped back to the figure on the bed.

Still there.

Still facing the wall.

Still… wrong.

“Stop it,” she typed quickly. “This isn’t funny.”

The reply came.

“I’m under your bed.”

The words seemed to echo in her mind.

Then—

A sound.

Soft.

Dragging.

From beneath her.

CHAPTER 2: THE WRONG POOJA

Priya froze.

Every instinct screamed at her to move—but she couldn’t.

Her ears strained in the silence.

The sound came again.

A slow shift.

A faint scrape.

Something… repositioning itself.

Under her.

Her phone buzzed.

“Don’t move.”

Her throat went dry.

Across the room—

The figure on Pooja’s bed moved.

Slowly.

Its head tilted.

Too far.

Too unnatural.

Then—

It smiled.

A wide, unmoving smile that didn’t belong to any human face.

Priya’s breath caught in her throat.

Her phone buzzed again.

“That’s not me.”

Tears formed in her eyes.

The thing on the bed twitched—

Then sat up suddenly.

Too fast.

Its head snapped toward her.

“Priya…” it said softly.

The voice was Pooja’s.

But broken.

Layered.

Like something else was speaking through it.

“Come here.”

Priya shook her head weakly.

“No…”

The creature stood up.

Its movements jerky at first—

Then smoother.

More controlled.

More… real.

“Why are you scared?” it asked.

The words cracked mid-sentence.

Her phone buzzed violently.

“DON’T ANSWER IT.”

The lights flickered once—

Then died.

Darkness swallowed the room.

And from beneath her bed—

A whisper.

Close.

Terrified.

“Priya… I’m here…”

CHAPTER 3: UNDER THE BED

Priya’s entire body trembled.

Her phone screen was now the only source of light.

Dim.

Unsteady.

Alive.

Another message appeared.

“Don’t look down.”

Her breath came in shallow bursts.

Above her—

Footsteps.

Slow.

Careful.

The thing was moving closer.

Her phone buzzed again.

“It’s near you.”

The floor creaked beside her bed.

Silence followed.

Then—

A hand appeared.

Long fingers gripping the edge of her mattress.

Too pale.

Too thin.

Priya squeezed her eyes shut.

“Don’t react.”

The mattress dipped.

Something climbed onto her bed.

Behind her.

Its breath touched her neck.

Cold.

Rotten.

“Priya…” it whispered.

Her phone buzzed again.

“It doesn’t know which one you are yet.”

Then—

A hand shot out from beneath the bed—

Grabbing her ankle.

She almost screamed.

But didn’t.

A whisper followed.

Urgent.

Desperate.

“RUN.”

CHAPTER 4–10 (FULL ARC CONTINUATION)

Priya ran.

The moment she broke stillness, the creature changed.

No longer slow.

No longer learning.

Now—

It hunted.

It dragged her back.

Pulled her.

Nearly took her—

Until another force grabbed her from below.

Pooja.

The real one.

Under the bed.

She escaped downward.

Into the darkness beneath.

Where the world felt wrong.

Bent.

Separate.

Pooja was there—terrified, shaking, alive.

She explained everything:

  • The thing came when the lights went out

  • It copies voices

  • It studies behavior

  • It replaces people

And worst of all—

It needs permission.

The creature found them.

It looked under the bed.

Smiling.

Watching.

But it couldn’t fully enter.

Not yet.

That space protected them.

For now.

Time stretched.

Minutes felt like hours.

The thing circled above.

Waiting.

Learning.

Listening.

Then came the rule.

Through messages.

Through whispers.

Through fear.

Only one of you can remain.

If both stayed—

It would eventually take both.

But if one left willingly—

It would choose.

And stop.

The choice broke them.

Priya refused.

Pooja didn’t.

She understood first.

“It already knows me,” she whispered.

“Let me go.”

“No,” Priya cried.

But it was too late.

Pooja moved.

Fast.

She crawled out from under the bed.

“HEY!” she shouted.

The creature reacted instantly.

Dropped from above.

Screamed.

A broken, distorted sound.

“Come catch me!” Pooja yelled, running.

The door burst open.

Footsteps.

Chaos.

Then—

Silence.

Priya stayed under the bed.

Alone.

Frozen.

Waiting.

Minutes passed.

Or hours.

She didn’t know.

Her phone buzzed once more.

“It made its choice.”

The screen went black.

Then—

Footsteps.

Returning.

Slow.

Calm.

Certain.

A shadow stretched across the floor.

A voice came from above.

Soft.

Perfect.

“Priya…”

She closed her eyes.

Because now—

It didn’t sound wrong anymore.
