HAD NO CLUE

I had no clue I was looking for a person I was going going to spend my forever with

I had no idea I was meeting the love that was going to change the course of my life

I had no intention of trying to plant love.

I’ve tried in the past, but the sun was too much by then

I had no idea we would turn into this.

I do remember you feeling so familiar but also so new

like breath of fresh air filling my lungs

I didn’t suffocate

You weren’t intoxicating.

you were pure bliss in human form

I remember the first time I opened my heart to you

I had no doubt it was safe

and maybe our souls fell in love in different lifetimes

and here we were, falling again in this one

those invisible strings were already tied before our path crossed
